Maine Action Youth Network

Ms. Brunette accompanied four students (Brian Johnson, Liz Kneebone, Audrey Burns, and Dominic Burich) to the annual MYAN Peer Leadership Conference in Augusta last weekend. The conference brought together hundreds of youth & adults from across Maine for inspiring workshops, networking, speakers and action planning. The event focused on helping participants develop the connections and skills they need to work in youth-adult partnerships to create change on whatever topic(s) they’re interested in from teen health topics to school climate issues.  This year’s group is the recipient of a $250 grant to promote a healthy student climate at Mt. Ararat.
